Shahat Security Directorate has arrested a Libyan man and two Egyptian nationals on charges of smuggling migrant workers from Tobruk and Musaid to Benghazi, in exchange for large sums of money.

The Directorate said on its official Facebook page that the vehicle used in smuggling was also seized, confirming that the smugglers were referred to the competent authorities.

It also explained that the smugglers drove illegal migrants through the desert road, passing through Tobruk and south of Al-Faydiyah area to the city of Benghazi.
