The Sea Port of Khoms city east of Tripoli announced on Sunday the suspension of maritime traffic due to bad weather and sea disturbance.

The Libyan coast was severely disturbed by turbulence and high tides Sunday from Ras Ajdir to Sirte.

Wind speeds ranged from 20 to 30 knots, and reached 45 knots along the west coast, to Misurata.

The National Oil Corporation (NOC) was forced to close oil ports several times this season because of bad weather.
