The security services in Murzuq, southern Libya, have found mass graves in the outskirts of the city containing around 17 bodies of Tabu tribesmen.

"Security officers in the city have found 17 unidentified bodies with bound hands and feet, and with visible signs of gunshots," Murzuq Municipal Council member, Mohammad Omar clarified Monday.

Omar added that there are many still missing persons from the city of Murzuq after the armed clashes that took place in the city with the so-called Dignity Operation forces.
