France announced on Monday that the meeting of the Security Council regarding what they described as human trafficking in Libya, will be held on Tuesday.

The French Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Monday that the meeting of the Security Council, which France had called for, will be chaired by Italy.

Last week, Paris called on its Foreign Minister, Jean-Yves Laudrian, to convene an emergency session of the Security Council after the release of media reports depicting human trafficking in Libya.
