The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohamed Sayala, has received the Assistant UN Secretary-General and Coordinator of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL), Raisedon Zenenga, at the ministry’s headquarters in Tripoli.

Both parties discussed the latest developments in Libya, along with the latest results of the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum (LPDF) and the role that UNSMIL plays in order to establish security and stability in Libya.

Zenenga was appointed to his post at the end of last December in accordance with Resolution 2542 of 2020.
