The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Accord, Mohamed Sayala, has received a copy of the credentials of the Humanitarian Coordinator of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL), Georgette Gagnon.
The Information Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Gagnon presented her plan of action to Sayala during their meeting in Tripoli on Monday.
Both sides discussed the new humanitarian conditions resulting from the consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic, along with methods of delivering humanitarian aid to those most in need, but also how to support the Government of National Accord in confronting the pandemic with the aid of the international community.
