The Libyan Foreign Minister, Mohamed Sayala, held discussions with the Italian Ambassador to Libya, Giuseppe Buccino, on the possibility of activating the Libyan-Italian treaties and the file on ‘illegal immigration’.
According to the Ministry the meeting dealt with the file on Libyan-Italian treaties, particularly with regard to the highway, linking Ras Ajdir and Musaid and to what extent this treaty has already been implemented or completed.
The Italian ambassador, for his part, confirmed the strength of bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and their intention to strengthen those ties in accordance with what best serves the interests of both countries.
