The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohamed Sayala held discussions with the Turkish Ambassador in Tripoli, Serhat Aksen, on Sunday, in which they reviewed the results of the recent visits by delegations from both countries.

According to a statement issued by the Libyan Foreign Ministry, the subject of the meeting was a review of the outcome of the recent visits by high-level Turkish delegations to Libya and vice versa.

Both sides also reviewed coordination between both governments to implement the outcomes of the visits. The Turkish Ambassador affirmed his country’s continued support to the Government of National Accord (GNA), expressing the need to work with the GNA to overcome all obstacles, in order to rebuild the country.
