The Chairman of the Presidential Council, Fayez Sarraj, met on Tuesday with a delegation of the committee assigned by him to participate in Cairo meetings aimed at unifying the military institution. The Information Office of Sarraj stated that the meeting was held in Tripoli and addressed upcoming benefits that the committee would have in completing the discussions on the remaining issues that concern the building of this institution.
According to the same source, Sarraj said that he gave his appreciation to efforts made by the members of the committee and the progress they have made so far, stressing the need to build this institution on the doctrine of loyalty to the homeland and maintain independence and sovereignty, territorial integrity and safeguarding the dignity and rights of all its citizens.
