Chairman of the Presidential Council, Fayez Sarraj, has stated that Libya is demanding the management of its frozen assets abroad and not to lift the freezing.

Sarraj added by explaining that the frozen assets have suffered losses, and that his government is seeking to overcome them.

He reiterated during his meeting with US Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross his wish to conclude agreements with the US government, which should encourage, support and guarantee investment and avoid double taxation.

He added that his government`s plans are parallel with attention to oil and gas production, energy, electricity and reconstruction, in addition to the country's urgent need to develop the infrastructure of state institutions.
