Libya's losses due to the sabotage acts on crude oil pipelines amount to more than 1,600 barrels per day, the Sirte Oil company said on Friday.
"The attack on the oil and gas transmission lines in the fields of South Zaltan and Al-Lahib forced the company to shut down the wells to deal with the leak," the company said on Facebook.
It expressed concern that the attackers might strike again and urged authorities to take action and prevent further damage.
