A Libyan Airlines plane landed for the first time in about five years at Sabha's Airport, coming from Benghazi.

A ceremony was held for the reopening of the airport in the presence of the city's officials and the participation of the General Scout Movement and a number of civil society institutions.

The flight was scheduled to fly to Sabha in the ninth of this month but was postponed because of a technical failure.

The plane was the first to land at Sabha's airport, which reopened Friday, after a shutdown since 2014.
