Staff of Sabha Medical Center decided on Sunday to suspend work for 10 days due to the abduction of a fellow doctor by an armed group.

In a letter addressed to the Minister of Health, the staff confirmed that the management of the Center disclaims its responsibility for any failure of medical services at the center, taking the relevant authorities responsible for providing the necessary security within the city.

Dr. Dr. Salem al-Salhab, a surgeon, had been abducted by an armed group while leaving Fezzan clinic last Friday.
