The Director of the National Center for Disease Control Sabha branch, Abdul Hamid Al-Fakhri announced the first recovery of a Coronavirus patient in Sabha.
In a brief update posted on the centre's Facebook page, Al-Fakhri pointed out that the total number of Covid-19 cases in the southern region so far amounted to 203 cases and five fatalities, noting that infections were recorded in Sabha and neighbouring areas, including Taraghin, Ubari, and Barak Al-Shati.
He also confirmed that the "zero case" in the city announced on May 25 last, is in a stable condition, and recovering well, urging citizens to adhere to the curfew orders and the measures recommended by the relevant bodies in this regard.
