The Russian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mikhail Bogdanov, has reiterated the importance of holding elections in Libya as per the schedule of the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum's roadmap: on December 24.
Bogdanov's remarks came in a phone call with the UN envoy to Libya, Jan Kubis. The two sides talked about the preparation for Paris international conference on Libya on November 12.
Bogdanov and Kubis also discussed boosting peace in Libya and the need for implementing all UN Security Council resolutions leading to the holding of elections to ensure security, sovereignty and unity of Libya.
