The Libyan ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Russia, Mohammed Al-Maghrawi, has discussed with the Chargé d'Affairs of the Russian Embassy in Libya, Jamshid Poltaev, ways to open the Russian embassy in Tripoli and start its work from the Libyan capital in the near future.

Poltaev confirmed that there are no restrictions imposed on Libyan citizens, denying that the Russian embassy has stopped granting visas to Libyan citizens, according to the Libyan embassy in Russia.

He also praised the efforts made by the Libyan ambassador to develop Libyan-Russian relations in accordance with the requirements of the two countries, according to the same source.
