Reporters Without Borders (RSF) expressed concern that the media has become an almost impossible task in Libya, where attacks against media and journalists have reached a dangerous point.

"The RSF is alarmed by the grave situation of press freedom in Libya, on the eighth anniversary of the 17 February Revolution," the organization stated Sunday.

At least 19 journalists have been killed since 2011, in addition to many cases of disappearance, kidnapping and torture during this year, according to RSF.

It also denounced that crimes against media workers go unpunished and impunity of criminals remains unaddressed.
