The amateur Astronomy society "Roaya" denied Monday, that an earthquake took place in the city of Marj, east of Libya.
"No earthquake has been detected by any global seismographs, in Libya or the Mediterranean or any neighbouring countries in the last hours”, Roaya confirmed on Facebook.
Several social media activists circulated reports that a minor tremor occurred in the city of Marj.
