The first meeting of the Higher Policy Committee took place and on the agenda was the coordination and assistance by the international community to improve the living conditions of Libyans, known as the United Nations Stabilization Facility in Libya.

The meeting was chaired by the head of the UN proposed Presidential Council, Fayez Sarraj and also in attendance was the head of the World Health Organization mission in Libya, representatives of international financial and economic institutions, the Ambassador of the European Union and also the ambassadors of Germany, Britain, France, Italy, South Korea, Turkey and the Netherlands.

Libyan attendees included the Minister for Foreign Affairs, the Minister for Planning and Local Governance officials.
