The relief committee in Qatrun town in the southern part of Libya, distributed food aid provided by the Sheikh Taher Al-Zawi Charity Foundation.
A source at Al-Amal Association, which oversees the distribution of aid, said that the aid was distributed to 400 families registered on lists of needy families in the region.
The source also said that the aid consisted of food stuffs as well as other items that are difficult to provide in light of high prices and lack of financial liquidity, noting that priority was given to the distribution of families of orphans and widows, in addition to families with low incomes.
