The Libyan Red Crescent, Sabha branch has said it had recovered the bodies of five people who were charred to death after a fire broke out at their house in Al-Minshiyah neighbourhood in Sabha.

The Red Crescent explained that its expert group on exhumation and missing persons accompanied the police to the site and retrieved the bodies, after receiving a report on a house fire.

The bodies are being reserved in the morgue of Sabha's Hospital, pending to be handed over to their families, after finishing the required procedures, according to the Information Office of the Red Crescent.
