The Ras Lanuf Oil and Gas Company (Rasco) announced on Sunday the resumption of the Ras Lanuf refinery in the second half of this year, in conjunction with a decision in favour of the National Oil Corporation in two international arbitration cases on the refinery, which has a capacity of 200 thousand barrels per day.
In a statement, Rasco said that "the verdict coincided with Ras Lanuf preparations for the second half of this year.
The National Oil Corporation said earlier that it had won two international arbitration cases against the Ras Lanuf refinery operator and called for the refinery to be restarted as soon as possible.
