Ras Lanuf Company says it has successfully conducted the preliminary tests for the Ethylene Plant and the Propylene Refrigeration Compressor System (R-12) after several months of attempts.
Ras Lanuf's chairman confirmed during his inspection visit to the site that the initial trial to operate the Ethylene plant is running well, noting that operating the industrial complex again after a hiatus of more than ten years is a national and historical work that may never be repeated.
The company said it is planning to finish testing the rest of the compressors successively and aims to complete the final operating tests before confirming the factory’s readiness in terms of all procedures, including the safety measures.
