The head of the General Investigation Department at the Ras Ajdair border crossing, Mohamed Mardia, denounced what he described as the complete silence of the Presidential Council regarding the harassment of Libyan citizens in the Tunisian border towns.
Mardia said on Saturday that he had addressed the Chairman of Presidential Council more than once regarding the abuses suffered by Libyan travellers on the Tunisian side of the Libyan border, but to no avail.
