The Fuel and Gas Crisis Committee of Brega Oil Marketing Company held a meeting on Thursday evening with the mayors of southern municipalities and the security room in the region of Murzuk basin in the south of the country.

Those present at the meeting discussed the situation regarding the lack of fuel in the south and ways to solve these problems, especially the deteriorating security situation and fuel smuggling to neighboring countries.

They agreed that fuel supplies to petrol filling stations will be slashed, reducing the quantity to 650 thousand liters of fuel instead of about 1.5 million liters to curb fuel smuggling.
