Qatar has reiterated its full support for the sovereignty, unity, and stability of Libya, stressing the need for the parties to the crisis to adhere to the outcomes of the Berlin Conference.

This came during a meeting held on Monday in Doha, which brought together Qatar's Foreign Minister, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, with his counterpart, Muhammad Sayala, and Libya's Minister Fathi Bashagha.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman reaffirmed during the meeting Doha’s support for the legitimate Libyan government and the ceasefire agreement signed recently in Geneva.

He also called for the necessity for the Libyan parties to adhere to the implementation of the Skhirat Agreement signed in Morocco in 2015, the Security Council resolutions, and the outcomes of the Berlin Conference to reinforce the course of a political solution to the crisis.
