The Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, confirmed that the issue of Libya is expected to be on the agenda of the summit talks, bringing together the Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdogan next Wednesday in Sochi, Russia.

The official stated on Monday, “I believe that Syria will top the agenda, along with Afghanistan, followed by an exchange of views on the Libyan file and various global issues,” according to a report by the Russian TASS news agency.

The talks come at a time when the matter of expulsion of mercenaries and foreign forces from Libya has wavered and the 5+5 Military Committee failed to implement the terms of its agreement, which was signed last October.
