A number of women and children in Tarhuns city organized a protest on Saturday, during which they demanded to know the fate of their missing relatives, who were taken by Haftar militias during the occupation of the city.

The families of the abductees, urged the elders of the eastern region, to assist in informing the families of the fate of their loved ones, in light of reports that some of the kidnapped victims were transferred to secret prisons in the eastern region.

The families demanded the United Nations Mission and Human Rights Watch to act promptly and condemn those who committed massacres against their relatives and pleaded with those concerned in the eastern region to hand over the perpetrators of these acts to face justice and stand trial.
