Armed protesters in Tobruk closed the Social Security Fund, protesting the dismissal of an official in the office.

They chained the doors of the office headquarters with a grenade, which led to the suspension of work.

In the meantime, a number of people condemned the incident, warning against being drawn into these behaviors, which in turn impede the administrative procedures of retirees.

The eastern region of Libya has been witnessing a state of security chaos for years, manifested in the spread of extrajudicial killings, kidnappings and seizure of citizens' property.
