Protesters in the city of Sorman, west of Tripoli, blocked the main coastal road in the city to demonstrate their rejection to Haftar's disregard for their sons captured by the Libyan army.

The residents protested against what they described as Haftar's distinction between armed prisoners from the eastern region and their sons, demanding a solution to their imprisoned sons.

The protesters expressed outrage for excluding their “128” prisoners from the prisoner exchange deal with GNA forces that saw the release of 10 Haftar prisoners, all from eastern Libya.

A video link on social media showed a force affiliated to Haftar using live ammunition to disperse the protesters.
