The Presidential Council (PC) has issued a resolution regarding a series of new appointments of ambassadors, in a number of countries and organizations.

The resolution issued yesterday named Fayez Al-Sarraj’s political adviser, Al-Taher Al-Sunni, as Libya's ambassador to the United Nations in New York. It also named Tamim Baio Libya’s Permanent Representative to the UN Mission in Geneva; former minister of education, Suleiman Al-Sahali as Libyan ambassador to Kuwait; and member of the Constitutional Commission, Rania Essid as an ambassador to Morocco.

The resolution also named new ambassadors in Germany, Russia, Austria, Mauritania, Belgium, and Spain.
