The head of the Civil Society Commission in Misrata, Ramadan Maitiq, stated that the commission is preparing to launch a campaign named “Brotherhood” to help much needed relief reach the besieged city of Derna.
Maitiq added that the campaign will be sponsored by the Medical Supply Agency of the Central Region, the Libyan Council for Businessmen, Misrata Central Hospital and the Zakat Fund of Misrata.
The campaign will send shipments of medical supplies, food and fuel to Derna and the organisers called on neighbouring areas to participate in the campaign.
