An engineering team from the Airports Authority conducted an inspection visit on Thursday to Mitiga International Airport to take note of the requirements for operating the new departure lounge.

The new passengers' area will need seats, baggage trolleys, gates with boarding pass readers, flight information display boards, and signboards, in addition to other tools, the Airports Authority said on Facebook Friday.

The supplies would also include furniture and facilities adapted to people with disabilities.

The inspection visit comes within the preparations for opening the new passenger departure lounge at Mitiga Airport, established by the Airports Development Authority, which emphasized its pursuit to provide the best services to travelers.
