Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah inaugurated Saturday the 'Plant A Tree' project in Tripoli, targeting the area from the Farnaj roundabout to the Al-Sab'aa district in Tripoli.

In conjunction with the Youth Voluntary Efforts Agency, the Government of National Unity aims to plant one million seedlings of fruit and ornamental trees throughout Libya, a statement by the PM media office said.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Foreign Minister Najla Al-Manqoush, minister of youth, and representatives from the General Movement for Scouts and Guides.

Another goal of the project is to promote the spirit of volunteerism and initiative among young people towards the environment, according to the PM media Office.
