Photojournalist killed in recent clashes south of Tripoli

The Associated Press (AP) photographer Mohammed Bin Khalifa has been killed in the armed clashes taking place in Sidi Sayeh area south of Tripoli, media sources reported.

The sources added that Bin Khalifa was killed while he was covering the clashes, as a freelancer from some foreign media, that erupted Wednesday between the forces of the Seventh Brigade of Tarhouna and the Protection Forces of Tripoli.

The current armed clashes south of Tripoli have claimed the lives of 11 people and the injury of 43 others, including women and children, according to the latest statistics released by the Ministry of Health.
