The Petroleum Facilities Guard (PFG) prevented protestors from Fezzan Anger Movement from entering Sharara oil field and interrupting its work after the protesters gathered near the eastern entrance of the field.

Sources from the movement said the protesters camped a few kilometres away from the field after being prevented from advancing any further.

The protesters demanded a solution t the deteriorating security and economic conditions in the south.

In the same vein, some members of Fezzan Anger Movement rejected in a protest on Monday the attempt to close the Sharara field, stressing that the resources of the Libyan people should not be compromised.
