A senior leader in the Petroleum Facilities Guard in the central region Salim al-Maghrabi denied news regarding the force's advance towards the Oil Crescent region.
"The mobilization of the Dignity militias in the Oil Crescent area under the pretext to repel a possible attack by our forces is totally baseless and nothing but a show of force," Al-Maghrabi said in a press statement Tuesday.
Earlier, sources reported that a force from the 106 and Tariq Ibin Ziyad battalions, arrived at Wadi al-Hamr area east of Sirte.
