A considerable group of families of victims of Tarhuna commemorated the International Day of the Victims of Enforced Disappearances, which falls on August 30 annually.

The citizens organized a memorial ceremony in Martyrs Square in the center of Tarhuna, in the presence of the President and other members of the Steering Council of Tarhuna Municipality, the Tarhuna Victims Organization, along with the Civil Society Commission in the city.

Several families of victims affected by the despicable crimes of Al-Kani gangs and Haftar’s militias, whose actions touched countless innocent people in Tarhuna and nearby cities, also took part in the commemoration ceremony.

The participants demanded that the perpetrators of the crimes be held accountable and prosecuted and that the fate of their missing sons is revealed.
