The Vice-President of the Presidential Council (PC), Ahmed Maiteeq had a telephone call with Maltese Foreign Minister, Evarist Bartolo, in which they discussed issues of common concern.
The two sides discussed areas of cooperation between the two countries and developments regarding the aggression against Tripoli.
Bartolo affirmed his country's commitment to achieving security and stability in Libya.
He reiterated that Malta supports the Government of National Accord (GNA), as the internationally-recognized authority, expressing hope to increase mutual coordination between the two countries in various fields.
