Vice President of the Presidential Council (PC), Abdul-Salam Kajman has discussed with French Ambassador to Libya, Béatrice du Hellen, strengthening relations between the two countries.
The meeting highlighted the French role in supporting the democratic process in Libya and its efforts to address several deadlocks, such as the unification of institutions, in addition to its cooperation in the field of security, combating terrorism, and illegal immigration.
For her part, the French ambassador reaffirmed her country's support for the Presidential Council to bring the country out of the current impasse through working towards ending the transitional stages, the referendum on the constitution, and holding parliamentary and presidential elections.
