The Presidential Council (PC) issued a decision to suspend the work of the Fuel and Gas Crisis Committee chaired by Milad al-Hajrasi and to channel all its competence to the National Oil Corporation (NOC).
The decision came after much debate concerning the work of the committee, where the NOC has accused in a statement the committee of being fake, describing it as a facade to cover up smuggling activities.
In the same context, Brega Oil Company has issued a decision to suspend al-Hajrasi and refer him to investigation.
