The Secretary-General of the Presidential Council, Ali Al-Taher Shlak, has visited the General Information Authority, to review the authority's projects, electronic services, the national information system and work to establish the National Data Center.

During this visit, Shlak was briefed on the authority’s strategic plans and existing and future national development projects implemented by the authority in order to promote the information sector as an important vital sector that supports the vision of the State of Libya in building an existing economy on knowledge.

It is noteworthy that the General Information Authority is one of the most important pillars for supporting decision-making because of its importance in providing correct and accurate information.
