Chairman of the Presidential Council (PC), Fayez Al-Sarraj discussed during a meeting on Tuesday with PC member Ahmed Hamza, the situation and needs of the southern region.
"The meeting covered the developments in the city of Ghat, which was hit by floods earlier this month, causing significant damage to homes and displacing hundreds of families," the PC Information Office said.
The southern region of Libya is experiencing poor services and a deteriorating security situation since Haftar's forces took control of the region in February.
