The Presidential Council (PC) has ordered a complete lockdown in all government facilities for ten days starting from Friday.
Only essential services will remain operational, including electricity, telecommunications, security and health services, freight traffic and municipal services, according to the PC order.
It also excluded from the lockdown, the shipments of foodstuff and small shops and bakeries, provided that they operate from 7 am till 12 pm.
People are allowed to do some shopping and get their needs between the time referred to, but on foot.
