The member of the Presidential Council (PC) Abdulsalam Kajman discussed Monday with the United Nations' humanitarian coordinator for Libya Maria Ribeiro adopting a tougher policy on the issue of immigration and the consideration of asylum applications.
The meeting was held in Tripoli with the participation of officials from the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the World Health Organization (WHO) under the supervision of the Anti-Illegal Immigration Agency.
The discussion featured the 2019 program of the agency, with the aim of curbing the flow of migrants to European shores via Libya.
