The member of the Presidential Council, Mussa Al-Koni has welcomed the desire of Belgium to strengthen its relations with Libya.
This came during his meeting in Tripoli on Tuesday with the Ambassador of Belgium to Libya, Christophe de Bassompierre.
During the meeting, Al-Koni stressed the importance of Libyan-Belgian cooperation and the investment of all opportunities that would contribute to creating spatial development in the southern regions.
In turn, the Belgian ambassador stressed the importance of the Libyan-Belgian relations, and the development of prospects for joint relations to serve the interests of the two countries by activating bilateral cooperation programs in the economic field, especially in the regions of southern Libya, which contributes to its stability.
