Chairman of the Presidential Council, Fayez Al-Sarraj said that the calls for a cease-fire must be coupled with the withdrawal of the aggressor forces to their bases and by addressing its causes.

"The aggression on Tripoli is doomed to failure, and all Libyans will pursue their goals of establishing a civil state; a state of law and institutions," Al-Sarraj stressed.

This came during his meeting with a delegation from Al-Zawiya city on Monday, where the delegation underlined that there is no military solution to the crisis, emphasizing their adherence to a civil state and the immediate withdrawal of the aggressor force.
