The Chairman of Presidential Council (PC), Fayez Al-Sarraj received on Monday the credentials of the new ambassadors of Italy, Malta, and Turkey to Libya.

The new ambassadors emphasized the profound relations between their countries and Libya and expressed their aspiration to develop bilateral cooperation, according to the Information Office of the PC.

For his part, Al-Sarraj reiterated his desire that ambassadors would work to promote and develop cooperation and that their countries contribute effectively in the field of economy and development for the mutual benefit.

He also expressed the hope that the Embassy of Malta will soon start its work from Tripoli, similar to the embassies of Turkey and Italy, so as to facilitate communication between the two governments and the provision of consular services to citizens.
