Chairman of the Presidential Council (PC) Fayez Al-Sarraj discussed on Tuesday, with the head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) Ghassan Salame and his deputy for political affairs, Stephanie Williams, the latest developments and the UN efforts to stop the aggression and resume the political process.

Al-Sarraj affirmed during the meeting, the commitment to build a democratic civil state and to hold accountable the perpetrators of war crimes and human rights violations, including those responsible for the bombing of the equestrian club in Janzour.

For his part, Salame renewed his total rejection of all attack on civilians and civilian facilities, which constitutes a serious violation of international humanitarian law and international human rights law, according to Salame.
