Chairman of the Presidential Council (PC), Fayez al-Sarraj held a meeting on Wednesday to discuss the conduct of military operations and the overall situation in the areas and cities liberated recently by the Libyan army forces from Haftar's militias.

The meeting was attended by PC Vice-President, Ahmed Maiteeq, and Minister of Interior, Fathi Bashaga, in addition to military commanders of Tripoli, western and central regions, along with the commander of Sirte-Jufra operation room.

Discussions touched upon the measures put in place to protect civilians as well as private and public facilities, including the security arrangements adopted in the liberated areas, according to the PC information office.
